About Us

Our offices are based in the award winning Nishkam Centre on Soho Road in Handsworth, Birmingham.  We are available to meet you during your lunch hour, after work or on a Saturday.  

We are authorised and regulated by the Solicitors Regulatory Authority, members of The Law Society and accredited as a member of the Conveyancing Quality Scheme.  We were shortlisted for the British Asian Hafta Awards in 2010 and in 2011 we were one of the first practices to be selected for the first wave of the SRA's relationship management pilot

Our History

In 2009, under the guidance of Bhai Sahib Bhai Mohinder Singh, the Spiritual Leader and Chairman of The Guru Nanak Nishkam Sewak Jatha (Birmingham) UK and with precious parental blessings, HK Lawyers was established. Herpreet is the senior partner at HK Lawyers, who takes a professional and pragmatic approach in all matters and is known for reassuring and instilling confidence in clients.

In addition to practising as a solicitor, Herpreet is also a Business Advisor to Young Enterprise, and supports the Company Program with the lower 6th form at King Edward VI School in Handsworth . A member of the Interfaith Legal Advisers Network and Company Secretary to the Nishkam Civic Association.  She was also an active member of the BNI Foundation chapter in Solihull
